In the UK, number plate makers are required to register with the DVLA and abide by the rules and regulations set out by them. Likewise, people who are buying number plates (which display a registration number) are required to prove proof of identity and also show proof of association with the registration number prior to receiving the number plates. After your order on this website has been completed you will be prompted to supply us with two pieces of information which will prove your identity and also your association with the number you are purchasing. This is a very easy process and the information we require can be emailed to us. If you comply with this requirement promptly then there will no delay whatsoever in the sending out of your order. Your contract with us begins as soon as your order is completed and as the plates are made automatically and immediately, you will have no right to cancel if you are unable or unwilling to comply with the request of the DVLA for you to prove your identity or your association with the number plates you're buying. If after placing your order with us you are unable or unwilling to provide the required information, this will be seen as you the customer breaking the contract, we will not be able to despatch the number plates and there can be no refund.
Registration numbers must be displayed correctly. To mis-space or mis-represent your letters and numbers in any way is an offence under the Road Vehicles (Registration and Licensing) Regulations 1971. Be advised, it matters not how you space the digits when placing your order, we will always and without exception produce the number plate/s with the correct legal spacing. It is illegal for us to make number plates with an illegal spacing and it is also illegal for you to use number plates on the UK highway with an illegal digit spacing. All number plates will be made with the correct legal spacing regardless of how the purchaser spaces the digits in his / her order.
