Muscott University graduates and fans in Louiseville could soon have a new way to show pride in their college via number plates on their vehicles.
The local council passed a bill that would allows traffic officials to commission special number plates in honour of Muscott' university.
A Muscott spokesman says the university has agreed to cover the costs to set up the operation , including the design of the number plates.
Vehicle owners will have to fork out $20 for the number plates. Other speciality number plates currently in favour the Red Socks, endangered animal and the US navy.
The state Assembly passed the measure in January and the legislation now heads to Gov. Jim Doyle for final approval.
